Achievement Data Benchmarks

Goals for student achievement and the success of students in achieving those goals

The University evaluates success with respect to student achievement consistent with its mission. To this end, the University has adopted several criteria to satisfy SACSCOC Standard 8.1. These criteria are:

· placement of graduates

· undergraduate and graduate course completion rates

· National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) pass rates

· Florida Teacher Certification Examination (FTCE) pass rates

The achievement data page presents multi-year data that were collected to monitor and assess student achievement for each of these measures.

Beginning AY 2025-2026, the benchmarks for each criterion are as follows:

· Job Placement: 70-80% success rate based on previous graduates’ performance

· Course Completion Rate: 85% course completion rates per semester for both undergraduate and graduate degree levels at the University

· Nursing Licensure Pass Rate: 80% NCLEX pass rate for those who chose to obtain licensure

· Teacher Certification Pass Rate: 80% FTCE pass rate

Established benchmarks for AY 2024-2025 for each criterion are :

· Florida Campus Job Placement: 70-80% success rate based on previous graduates’ performance

· Florida and North Carolina Campus Course Completion Rate: 85% course completion rates per semester for both undergraduate and graduate degree levels at the University

· NC Branch Campus Therapeutic Horsemanship certifications: 90% licensure success rate for those who chose to obtain certification

· NC Branch Campus Teacher Education Licensure: 80% teacher education licensure ultimate pass rate.
